It all started with a trip to the local hardware store.
Zack was picking up a few things (probably his second or third trip of the day) and ran into someone he knew. They chatted about what they were working on, etc. It turns out that the person he was talking to was helping his brother with a few home projects because they had decided it was time to sell their house.
Zack mentioned this to me, we drove by and checked out the house, then agreed that he would call his buddy and ask him to let his brother know that we might be interested when they got serious about selling.
That evening we had a visitor. The woman who owned the house came by with her phone numbers and an invitation to come and see the house any time. We did. The very next night. And then the night after that they came and looked at our house.
Within a few days, we had agreed on prices and had put each other’s homes under contract.
Crazy? Yes.
Easy? Very.
Meant to be? You bet.
So, now the story really begins….
They are living in their new home.
And we are beginning the project of a lifetime.
Here’s a peak…
P.S. If you know us in real life, you know this post is about 3 months late and we are half way through the remodel! I’ll keep posting and updating until I catch up! Maybe once we’ve lived here for 5 years you’ll see the after. 🙂
[…] As is the whole story of how this all came to be. More on that soon…. […]
