I “need” a new dining room table.

Ya’ll. We build furniture. And it’s not cheap. This I know.
But have you ever priced a dining room table?

As before mentioned, we build furniture. I can’t possibly pay $2000+ for a piece of furniture that I know deep down with every fiber of my being that Zack can build and build well. I just can’t.
Here’s my dilemma…
I (and half a million others over the years) have asked Zack to build a table and this is the response:
“I don’t build tables.”
I mean who does he think he is? How do you just say, “I don’t build tables”. WHY?
Because it’s cool to NOT build tables???
I tell ya I have no idea, but here’s what I do know…
I need a dining room table. (I’m guessing you get that by now).
So, about a year or so ago, I BEGGED Zack to build one (just one) table. I told him we could try it out. IF it didn’t sell I would keep it and he would be off the hook regarding dining room tables from now until the end of time and we’d learn how right he’s been all along….
Also… I found this really cute centerpiece on Pinterest and I was DYING to recreate it.

Anyway…
The man agreed to build ONE table. Bless his heart. No plans. Just a picture I showed him.

I finished it just as I would to match my own house (with fingers crossed it would come home with me on Sunday).
Guess what?
He liked the table.
He built another.
And guess what else?
We took 2 to our market.
And sold 4!
And guess what else?
We sell tables now.
